Strong Leadership Looks Different Lately

Old school: Strength = decisive decisions
New school: Strength = evolving decisions

Decisions are supposed to be definitive, final. Right?

Well, that was then, this is now.

In a world of fast-paced change, the right answer today may be the wrong answer tomorrow.

We need to keep learning, adding new information to what we already know and challenging what we have already decided.

Pivot and iterate.

To stay ahead of a changing landscape, frame decisions as working hypotheses:
Be inclusive to get a wider view of the issue.
Be curious to embrace new ideas.
Be flexible to course correct.

The tree that bends with the wind does not fall.
